Unit Highlights

The Foundation raises money for patients and pre-eminent health care in Central Florida. Our department works well together for the common goal of raising funds for AdventHealth.

The community you'll be caring for:
  • Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
  • Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America

The role you'll contribute:

The Foundation Communications Coordinator, executes day-to-day fundraising initiatives for key service lines with the Foundation Communications Manager. Applies introductory knowledge of fundraising research and analytics and contributes to the development of plans that competitively differentiate AdventHealth and ensures the growth of donations and donor engagement. Coordinates fundraising programs and builds strong relationships with stakeholders to advance the service line's strategic vision. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Implements integrated fundraising programs, including: foundation planning; creative conception and execution; donor communications; digital and social media; project management, direct mail, event planning and execution; and research analysis.

• Drives accelerated results through ideas, relationships and actions.

• Contributes to setting goals, strategies and tactics to ensure operational business goals are met.

• Implements day-to-day fundraising efforts for assigned service lines, including digital content and collateral creation, event execution, and project management.

• Establishes donor relationships to enhance fundraising efforts through annual appeals and foundation content.

• Collaborates with Foundation Major Gift Officers and Operations team on digital and direct fundraising strategies.

• Supports the development of direct-to-donor fundraising initiatives to drive donations and enhance annual giving efforts of new and current donors to drive leads and grow pipeline.

• Provides fundraising Return on Investment (ROI) reports to ensure business goals are met, as well as provides input in the development of key community relationships, affiliations and partnerships.

• Serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring that execution of Foundation brand strategy is consistently maintained across all areas of responsibility.

• Tracks service line budget, ensuring timely reporting and fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Bachelor's degree in Fundraising, Business, Marketing, fundraising or related field

• One year of emerging digital media and technologies experience
