Collins Aerospace is looking for a FP&A Manager, Consolidation who will have responsibility over the financial consolidation and analysis of monthly results and forecasts, flight hour agreement estimates at completion (EAC), annual operating plan, and long-range strategic plan for the Repair channel of the Aerostructures Aftermarket Value Stream. You will partner with Regional Controllers and staff for consolidations, reporting and support as well as contribute as a key business partner with global MRO operations and Senior Aftermarket leadership providing recommendations to ensure that the business consistently hits their financial targets.

**Position is currently remote, may need to work onsite when circumstances permit**

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team of Finance professionals responsible for the consolidating, forecasting and reporting the Aftermarket Repair financials and quarterly FHA estimates at completion (EAC)
  • Foster and contribute to a positive work environment through effective two-way communication, employee involvement, employee development, mutual trust and respect
  • Lead financial analysis, reporting and administration of flight hour agreements. Partner with MRO sites, FHA management and operations to develop and update quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) and manage contract costs and events to optimize profit.
  • Manage monthly forecasts and gap analyses for all financial metrics and gap scenarios for central FP&A team
  • Support financial month-end close and provide accounting journal entries as required. Assist in providing information and review of accounting issues when necessary, including audit support and preparing account reconciliations in the ARMS system
  • Present monthly financials, latest forecasts & gap explanations and provide business recommendations to management and/or leadership levels
  • Work closely with global MRO leadership teams (Finance & Operations) to establish and align metrics, processes and communication
  • Support monthly/quarterly management reporting packages to Finance and Corporate leadership


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and US GAAP principles
  • Read and interpret commercial contract language
  • Excellent computer Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
  • Be action oriented, drive for results and able to work in and lead teams
  • Strong project management skills to effectively plan and prioritize multiple project/tasks
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex business processes
  • ERP experience
  • Demonstrated results using Continuous Improvement (CI) tools
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally (when circumstances permit)


Preferred Qualifications

  • FP&A and financial consolidation experience
  • Accounting experience
  • Aerospace Industry experience
  • Working experience with SAP, HFM, Business Warehouse (BW) or Power BI
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence)
