JOB DESCRIPTION

Our A/R & Revenue Accounting Shared Services team is looking for a Freelance Collections Coordinator to be responsible for doing collection for FOX affiliate billing both domestic and International. The Freelance Collections Coordinator will also be responsible for gathering support for internal & external audits, collaborating closely with the Cash application team to troubleshoot some variances, testing new enhancements for affiliate software, and processing credit applications for new customers.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up with customers regarding past-due payments
• Assist with customers' inquiries regarding rates, invoice requests, variance issues, and sub-count adjustments
• Prepare breach list for collection meeting
• Maintain breach documentation for audit purposes
• Investigate the root cause for over or underpayments for over 60 days balance.
• Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies
• Test new implementations to the affiliate system (Coral)
• Participate in Sox Testing
• Follow-up on remittances with customers and understanding of adjustments in payments like WHT, Canadian tariff, bank fees, etc.
• Processing credit applications for new customers
• Preparing the statement of accounts, dunning letters for customers and regularly following up for payments
• Ensure that target collections (Prepayment and All Top accounts payments) are collected during the month

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Proficiency in Coral software is a plus
• Experience in the Affiliate Industry is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, and pivot tables)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Ability to work independently, thoroughly, and efficiently
• Proven track record in meeting deadlines

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• BA or BS
• Knowledge of foreign currency
• Experience in Collections

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $20.19-28.37 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
