Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a dedicated and focused full-time Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor to join our team at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville Florida. As a Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor, you must be friendly, outgoing, customer-service-focused, and detail-oriented when addressing guests, so making a great impression is key. You will also be responsible for overnight shifts where attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities

• Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales from other systems and manual sales sheets.
• Front desk responsibilities, must be able to resolve guest complaints independently, check-in and check guests out and post charges for in-house accounts.
• Understand guest folio, explanation of billing and how to make any needed corrections.
• Review pending advance deposits and charges.
• Quote room rates and room package information.
• Read group resumes and know daily activities of group.
• Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments.
• Secure bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.
• Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Previous experience in cash handling.
• Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial.
• Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able and willing to cross train in night audit.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.
