Responsibilities
Front Desk Receptionist
PIW is committed to improving the behavioral health care within our community by going beyond the traditional. We will continue to develop diverse and dynamic treatment programs and establish partnerships with others to understand and serve people where they live. BASIC FUNCTION:
Ensures the communication and customer service operation of the hospital is provided timely and effectively at all times and provides professional customer relations to a patient population of ages 10-65+.
Monitors video, fire and smoke detector equipment at the front desk and notifies the appropriate on-call personnel in the event of an incident or emergency.
Acts as answering service for MPG directors and other staff according to written procedures.
Answers questions and gives information in person or over the telephone, based on knowledge of the hospital and regulations.
Presents a good first impression to persons entering the hospital.
Internally, the incumbent will interface with hospital management and staff.
Externally, the incumbent will interface with all visitors and the general public.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent education experience.
Two years general office experience.
