General Summary:

The Front End Coordinator/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing customer engagements involving sales techniques as well as register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise. The Front End Coordinator is also responsible for the overview, and helping, of promotions, products, materials, equipment, and supplies that are needed to operate effectively in ways that are aligned to established the proper policies and procedures of Wexford Ace Hardware.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
Customer Service
• Project a positive representation of Wexford Ace Hardware.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously, and effectively.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking, and organizing of store product.

Minimum Requirements
•
High School or GED equivalent.
•
A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction.
•
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•
Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
•
Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location.

Physical Requirements
•
Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
•
Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting.
