Front End Tech Lead

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer with a strong background in React, JavaScript, TypeScript and Redux to join our team as a Front/end Tech Lead. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 19 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and supply chain management. This role involves overseeing complex projects driving technical excellence and ensuring successful project delivery.

Location: Minneapolis - MN

Responsibilities:

• Perform development and unit testing activities for user stories using React/redux and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Participate in daily scrum, sprint review, retrospective meetings, and user story grooming sessions.

• Analyze the user requirements, formulate low level design.

• Breakdown the tasks and work with other relevant project teams.

• Co-ordinate on performance test and trials to ensure a hassle-free user experience.

• Deploy and install the applications to demonstrate the successful performance of software as per the expectation.

• Fix the problems arising across the test cycles and continuously improves the quality of deliverables.

• Communicate with other application development partners and technology arbiters to deliver excellent output.

Required Qualifications:

• Perform development and unit testing activities for user stories using React/redux and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience of Azure for App Hosting.

• Familiarity of working in DevOps model (Azure DevOps exp is nice to have).

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline.

• Excellent communication skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $102, 600.00 - $187,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
