The Room Supervisor is responsible for assisting in overseeing the Housekeeping, Front Office and Guest Services Department. Duties may also include training, staff development, and scheduling.

General Responsibilities include:

• Inspect guest rooms, guest hallways, and public areas.

• Work well with your team to maintain the cleanliness scores with the tools provided (12 point inspection as well as heat map),

• Programming deep clean projects.

• Counseling and interviewing employees.

• Resolving guest complaints that arise from issues encountered in the rooms.

• Following up on We care entries, working closely with Engineering to promote a successful PM program.

• Training the staff on the latest Hyatt cleanliness standards using the tools/cleaning supplies necessary to complete the tasks and other general office duties.

• The supervisor will also have to be able to manage supplies in an effective way to prevent waste, complete inventories, complete purchase orders.

• Able to oversee projects on going in HSKP.

• Be part of committees relevant to the Housekeeping dept. as well as Guest experience.

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Able to conduct daily pre-shift meetings.

• Maintain a positive relationship with the front office team.

• Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office.

• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms;

• Attend meetings as assigned by leadership.

• High focus on the arrival, in house and departure experience.

• Responsible for communication with all departments for the Front Office.

• Managing the House. (Inventory, Arrivals and Departures, OOO/OOS rooms, Blocking for Excellence.)

• Monitor all guests requests through Zingle, HotSos and communicate those in a timely manner.

• Greeting VIP's upon arrival and continued follow up throughout their stay.

• Assisting with overseeing all Bellman and concierge tasks.

• Focus on the Rooms Division's key metrics, Customer Service, Cleanliness and Working order.

• Maintaining daily, monthly and year goals for World of Hyatt enrollments and upsells.
