• About This Opportunity
The Fuel Transactions Paralegal supports the 7-Eleven fuel and real estate teams' rapid growth by preparing and negotiating transaction documents in both the US and Canada. In this position, you will draft, review, and negotiate 7-Eleven's wholesale fuel supply contracts, leasing documents, security instruments, and a wide range of other transactional documents with the input of appropriate stakeholders. This is a high-volume paralegal position with a focus on following process, understanding business needs, and coordinating with multiple Company departments and divisions.

- Drafts, reviews and negotiates Fuel Supply and Consignment Agreements, Mortgages/Deeds of Trust, and a range of other transactional documents supporting the fuel team.
- Drafts, reviews and negotiates all types of lease documents in cooperation with the real estate and fuel transaction teams.
- Drafts or reviews and negotiates Subordination, Non-disturbance and Attornment agreements (SNDAs) and is responsible for preparing and completing landlord estoppel certificates with the input of appropriate stakeholders.
- Generates and/or reviews other lease amendments, and a range of other real estate-related documents, and navigates internal processes for proper authorizations and compliance for document execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to facilitate ever-changing workload prioritization and deadline management.
- Solid grasp of legal transactional concepts and documents associated with commercial transactions (ideally including real estate leasing and secured transactions).
- Willing and able to work collaboratively in a highly process-oriented environment with many stakeholders (in-house counsel, outside counsel, accounting groups, transaction negotiators, fuel supply companies, external company clients and title companies).
- Education: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an ABA approved institution or at least three to five years of relevant legal experience.
- Fully support and execute servant-leadership expectations.
