Full Stack Developer

We are hiring a full stack developer to join our Custom Development team! The ideal candidate will have flex to work within the Eastern time zone.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Experience working with React, Node and Python

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI and Vector Search

• Proficiency in various AI models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning techniques, with knowledge of using OpenAI, Google Gemini, and implementing text-to-speech and speech-to-text functionalities.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong coding and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures

• Comfortable engaging with high-level stakeholders both internal and external to Affirma

• Self-motivated, can work independently and learn new technologies on the go

• Experience and willingness to work with global development teams

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining innovative solutions using Google GCP.

• Support both the front-end and back-end development of chatbot applications, websites, and custom AI solutions.

• Design and implement user-friendly, responsive front-end and robust backend for chatbots and websites.

• Develop interactive user experiences with a focus on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.

• Support cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

• Chatbot integration support with third-party APIs and databases Implement secure and efficient APIs for data retrieval and processing.

• Implement conversational AI features to improve chatbot interactions.

• Developing, testing, and refining AI-generated text prompts, collaborating with Client's content, product, and data teams to align prompts with goals and user needs.

• Optimize AI prompt generation process to enhance overall system performance.

• Deploy and manage applications on Google GCP.
• Support ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based solutions.
