Magee Rehabilitation in Center City - Philadelphia is currently hiring for a Clinical Educator!

The rehabilitation staff assists patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment. This is done by designing and implementing treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psycho-social and spiritual health

RN, Educators are responsible for the following:

• Serves as a role model/mentor for students and other staff.
  
• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
  
• Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
  

As an RN, Educator you will apply nursing theory, education, and research in order to coordinate nursing education programs. You will also collaborate with Education Specialists to plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs that are directed toward achieving and maintaining competencies of nursing personnel. Qualifications include:

• Licensure to practice as a RN in Pennsylvania
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  
• Enrolled in a MSN program or will be within the next 3 years
  
• DNP Preferred
  
• 5 years of nursing experience
  
• Must have experience working with scheduling and instant reporting systems
