Full Stack Developer

• Hybrid 2 days onsite in Wilmington, Delaware or in Buffalo, NY. Looking for local candidates
• 6 month rolling contract, its an SOW so can go on for a long time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must haves:

• Java
• Springboot
• Angular/React
• At least 4 years of experience, Senior enough to know a code repository - we use Git. How to merge code, how to fork code, comment on code, etc.
• Need to know how to create Rest services
• Finance is NOT a must have

Nice to have:

• Activiti (open source Java language no one is going to have)
• J-unit (our testing tool)
• MQ

Most banks have an operations area, 70% in process re-engineering, 30% is text extraction off documents.

Vast majority of work is creating workflow systems, ticketing systems. It's pretty simple: you got to the bank and request a loan, fill out some papers, etc. But then on the backend it has to go through a bunch of steps to make it happen.

It used to be that this application would go around from team to team to team, we would do KYC here, audit here. Problem is we lose visibility this way, it's manual and it takes too long.

What we are going to do instead is take loan, digitalize it, extract info off of it, and then we are going to process it step by step.

Can be any workflow starting from mortgage, bill dispute, etc.
