Position description
The Computer Science Department in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for the position of full-time lecturer to start in the 2024-25 academic year. A successful applicant should have a strong commitment to and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The full-time teaching load consists of 8 courses split over the three quarters of the academic year. In addition to supporting the undergraduate educational needs of the Computer Science Department, this position will also help to support the Data Science and AI tracks of the School's Master of Engineering program through graduate offerings in those areas. A Ph.D. in Computer Science is preferred but not required. This full-time lecturer position comes with a multi-year renewable contract.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
A Ph.D. in Computer Science is strongly preferred, but not required. Teaching experience is required.
