  • Tele Psych isn't an option for safety reasons
  • Shift Times: M-F Full Time: 8a-4p or 9a-5p. 40 hours a week
  • Call: Potential for call in the long run, not required right away. Call responsibilities shared amongst staff physicians and fluctuated based on staffing

  • Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program required.
  • Child psychiatry training if treating population 16 years and younger. Must demonstrate relevant treatment competency through clinical experience, continuing education units and referral letters to support these specific skills.
  • Requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate's understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
  • Current valid license in Pennsylvania (or in final stages).
  • Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program required.
  • Procedures/Skilled Required: IDD/ASD (Autism) & Behavioral Health Cases
  • Our Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum (ID/ASD) RTF program serves boys and girls, ages 6 to 17, with a degree of intellectual and developmental disability, ranging from mild to severe, with IQ scores ranging from 20 to 55. These children also exhibit significant behavioral challenges, including self-injury, physical aggression and property destruction. The ID/ASD program teaches skill development, positive behavioral change, communication and self-care, enabling the youth to reach his or her fullest potential.
  • Average Patient Volumes: the expectation is to carry a caseload of an average of 50 patients monthly, seeing them at least monthly (treatment review meetings are spread out accordingly over the 20 working days), and collaborating with the other disciplines as team leaders to plan med changes/ MD notes (monthly)/ documentation/ evaluations, admissions, and discharge planning.
  • Volume based on census. Current volumes in the 40s but could go up to low 50s if census demands
  • Patient Ages: 6-18 on behavioral side 21 oldest on autism side
  • Compensation Package: (salary range, production model, income potential, sign-on bonuses, relocation, student loans, etc.)
    • $300,000-$342,000/yr. DOE. Based on experience
    • $20,000 sign-on bonus (full-time)
    • Could pick up hours in Outpatient program if really needed for extra income
    • Malpractice insurance covered
  • Benefit Package:
    • Up to 5k annually for CME and licensing
    • 5 CME days to use as needed
    • About 24 vacation days to use. Program is open 365 days a year, so they don't have set holidays, but they have the flexibility to use time off days as they choose
