About the role:

The Special Operations Specialist manages overall field services, operations, and functions in assigned area including training, post reviews, Specialist inspections, emergency response, client liaison, post order compliance reviews and special projects as assigned. In addition, the Special Operations Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of the client's employees, facilities and properties utilizing available technology and resources. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

In this role your responsibilities will be:
• Receiving shift pass down information, and conducting shift briefings to provide updates, assignments, training, and uniform compliance
• Manage and coordinate all security operations and scheduling for assigned deployment
• Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests
• Foster a customer service focus among staff in the execution of Safety & Security operations to protect personnel, property, and business operations
• Operate and monitor computer workstations and emergency systems; administer and maintain process control systems and databases
• Assisting with the development and revision of security processes, protocols, and systems
• Works with leadership to identify process and quality improvements
• Triage and manage incidents of workplace violence or other associate misconduct
• Maintain up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records
• Ensure personnel are provided with necessary equipment and ensure equipment accountability by maintaining diligent records of equipment inventory
• Complete proper personnel documentation/paperwork and processing
• Perform other related duties as required.

As a candidate you must have:
• Minimum 2 years of either military or law enforcement experience OR
• Associate's degree or higher in criminal justice or business management OR
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security; 2+ years in a supervisory
role
• Advanced safety certifications (EMT, CLSS-HC, etc.) preferred
• Proficient in iOS, macOS, PC operating systems on stationary and mobile devices
• Requires a thorough knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity
• Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
• Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required
• Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
• Must be a dependable team player with enthusiasm and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
• Ability to multitask, record project data, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate warehouse technology, power equipment, break down packages
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly; ability to push and pull a loaded cart or pallet jack
• Warehouse and supply chain experience a plus
