General Labor - Conway AR

The opportunity:

Looking for candidates to fill entry level manufacturing positions as needed. Employees responsible for helping run high speed carton forming equipment safely, performing preventative and breakdown maintenance, and participating on a safety team and a production improvement team. Responsibilities also include set up and changeover of machines, production paperwork and assisting crew with all responsibilities that assure quality product and efficient production. Note: Do not contact plant directly. WestRock will contact potential applicants.

• Assist in establishing and sustaining a clean and well-organized facility
• Assist in creating a more "proactive" approach towards safety with employee involvement
• Ensure that safe working conditions are observed
• Ability to interact with integrity with the crew and plant leadership
• Must meet company's safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Interact with improvement teams to resolve production issues
• Continually look for opportunities to improve processes and optimize equipment efficiency
• Standard hand tools provided by the company

What you need to succeed:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts. 36-hours/48-hour alternate weeks
• Willing to work night
• Overtime as needed
• Teamwork
