Moeller Aerospace is a precision manufacturing facility specializing in machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. Our main headquarters is in Wixom, Michigan and is responsible for all customer support including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer shipments.

We have an opening for a general production laborer positions. No previous experience is required, for this position we will hire those with a positive attitude and will train for skill. We are seeking a hands-on, team players with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, advanced quality assurance techniques, and/or aerospace work would be a definite asset.

The candidate selected will be responsible for providing support to the Manufacturing area as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds.

Running a saw

• Repetitive motion involved daily may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.

• Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas.

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders.

• Can work independently and in stressful environments.

• Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance

Starting wages $18 per hour with an excellent benefits package including:

- Day-one coverage for medical, dental, and optical insurance

- Up to 10 days of vacation, prorated to the renewal period on June 1

- 13 paid holidays and 401(k) match after 90 working days
