Pay Rate: $15.50

Hours: 50-55 hour work week with OT opportunities

General Laborer Overview

Are you ready to dive into a role that is both vital and exhilarating? The Lee Group is searching for General Laborer to work for one of our valued clients and be a part of the unsung heroes who keep the flames at bay! As a General Laborer you will be responsible for ensuring that fire hoses in multiple different areas are in tip-top shape and ready to unleash their watery power at a moment's notice. You will explore new places, meet new people, and play a key role in protecting lives and property, all while having a blast with the coolest tools and equipment!

Key Responsibilities of a General Laborer

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests of fire hoses to ensure they meet all safety standards and regulations in compliance with NFPA.
• Roll, unroll, lift, and maneuver fire hoses.
• Test water pressure and flow rates, making sure it meets company standards,
• Identify wear, tear, and potential defects and make appropriate tags and comments.
• Keep detailed records of all inspections, tests, and maintenance findings.
• Travel to various locations to perform inspections.
• Work closely with fire safety professionals, contributing to a culture of safety and reliability.

Key Requirements of a General Laborer

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, climb, crawl and twist for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have basic knowledge of hand tools and be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to travel and adapt quickly to new environments.
• Ability to thrive in outdoor settings and are comfortable working in various weather conditions and temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, visual acuity and perception.
