Responsibilities

The General Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for repair, replace or otherwise improve items of the Hospital Facilities or equipment. Perform semi - skilled work in several crafts.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance, various types of equipment and physical plant. 2 years construction experience basic carpentry and dry wall
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Proven maintenance experience
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Hospital setting experience
