JOB SUMMARY:

The General Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance Manager to take care of Delta Center. This will be done with a special emphasis on general maintenance including, but not limited to framing, drywall, and paint.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general maintenance on a scheduled and work order basis
• Repair of framing, drywall, wall prep, painting
• Collaborate and work well with the maintenance team
• Minimal plumbing, electrical, and mechanical needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Two years of experience in general maintenance
• Experience maintaining a large office building
• Aptitude for repairs including framing, drywall, repair, and paint
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures
• High attention to detail is essential
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• Ability to maintain focus while working independently

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
