Volt is currently looking for Warehouse Worker in the Rancho Cordova, CA

As a Warehouse Worker, you will:

• Unload inbound shipments, check inbound materials in, receive material into the prelude system, label, and put away materials with a barcode scanner.

• Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing.

• Manages the reporting of scrap cable.

• Identifies small parcels, full truckload, load small parcels, less than truckload, heavyweight air, will call/customer pickup orders, and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.

• Process packages via the small parcel shipping terminal.

• Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures and confirms will-call orders.

• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.

• Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Additional job duties can be added at any time.

This is a Full-time opportunity Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to operate a standard forklift. (sit down and stand)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Have adaptability and be open to change.

• Have a consistent work history on their resume.

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and reach overhead.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with organizational skills.

• Experience using a handheld scanner.

• Minimum Experience 1 year of warehouse experience required

• Ability to read and write in English and an understanding of Basic Math skills.

Salary: $17-19/hr. DOE

The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
