Job Summary:
Provide mapping and cartographic analysis in support of infrastructure department. Work as a team member on projects
encompassing company goals and government requirements. Responsible for maintaining and supporting company
mapping providing asset tracking.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize various GIS programs, extensions and tools to provide necessary analysis as requested.
• Create web apps and web maps based on data from ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Portal
• Aid in ArcGIS Enterprise Maintenance including database management and management of ArcGIS Portal
• Conduct research, create/convert GIS data, maps, reports, charts, and other cartographic displays as needed.
• Use ArcGIS modelbuilder, python, or like tools to automate processes.
• Create processes and analysis to increase efficiency of data transfer, representation, and analysis
• Update and analyze engineering model input data for network expansion.
• Support network construction and buildout comprehensive studies with internal staff and outside consultants.
• Assist with asset management through GIS, SiteTracker, and BillMax software.
• Help coordinate FCC reporting and executive meetings and presentations.
• Review and coordinate public and executive information requests sent to this section.
• Map and maintain Company Current and Planned two to ten-year projects.
• Map and track RF engineering study submissions and evaluate for coverage.
• Perform research and analysis for Federal, State, County, and local broadband grants.
• Perform research for various planning and wholesale inquiries.
• Attend company meetings related to planned and ongoing projects.
• Provide support and information to development community inquiries, other divisions, departments and outside
entities.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:
• Experience using ESRI software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal to manage, edit, share,
and present information.
• Strong working knowledge of QGIS, Google Earth, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A self-starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and adapt easily to change.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborative in style.
• Ability to lead a team of diverse professionals to contribute to companywide initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Professionalism and ability to work with other department managers and supervisors.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret reports and metrics
• Ability to use initiative and work efficiently with minimal supervision

Education and Experience:
• 3+ year experience GIS Mapping specialist or similar role
• 1+ year of working in an ArcGIS Enterprise Environment
• Experience working with metrics and KPI's

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Physical Demands:
• To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily
movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment and moving about the
office. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a
computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
• Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of 20 pounds or more

Working Hours/Days:
• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours
• Overtime as needed

Travel Requirements:
• 0%-5% travel required
• Occasional Overnight travel
