A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you'll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for the acquisition of services and capital equipment and goods. We serve as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialisation, and strategic advising.

The Global Procurement Senior Manager will report directly to the Global Procurement Category Lead responsible for PwC Technology Third Party Data / Knowledge spend category. The role will support our business stakeholders across the globe. The role will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies that drive greater efficiency and value from suppliers and are underpinned by the negotiation of robust contracts that appropriately manage and mitigate risk.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:
- Demonstrating experience of negotiating procurement contracts for Technology agreements;
- Understanding of software licenses rules, both on premise and SaaS agreements including contractual models and risks;
- Negotiating global agreements and understanding of data privacy challenges and European regulations;
- Working in a team-based environment with remote stakeholders;
- Understanding Financial and Quantitative data analysis with ability to review proposals;
- Negotiating using complex commercial models;
- Communicating analysis results effectively and clearly, in both verbal and in written form;
- Managing internal and supplier communication with results-driven mentality;
- Focusing on tasks and knowing when to escalate issues;
- Managing sourcing activity, from supplier selection through to contract negotiation and ongoing management in alignment to business objectives and in compliance with our procurement process and internal policies;
- Acting as a trusted business advisor to functional leaders and service owners across the PwC network, to develop the right procurement strategy for each engagement to deliver the best outcomes and value for the PwC network; and,
- Managing risk, via the negotiation of robust contracts, and the ongoing development of procurement processes incorporating supply chain sustainability considerations.
