We are seeking a highly skilled Operations subject matter expert to work alongside the operators of our internal compliance programs to help extract qualitative insights about our program. This role will be required to learn the intricacies of each scaled operations team and what qualitative signal we need to extract to pressure test the effectiveness of our processes in mitigating the most important risks. The individual will be pivotal in helping operations to better mitigate risks by providing actionable insights from the transaction-based analytics and trend analysis provided by our legal technical team. Success in this role will be based on this person's ability to identify, influence and enhance our risk based operational strategies to ensure we are efficient, scalable, cost effective and actively mitigating the risks that are the most important to our legal partners. This role requires close collaboration with the GSCO operations teams that execute the transactional risk mitigation processes and the LTS (Legal Technical Services team) which is responsible for reporting, data analytics, trend analysis and data visualization. Together, these teams will work jointly to create a data insights roadmap that this candidate will own to ensure accurate and insightful reporting that aligns to compliance objectives. This person should be operationally savvy, a problem solver and comfortable with executive/legal level communications with a knack for condensing complex operational details and data into meaningful, crisp insights that enable quick decision making.

Global Scaled Compliance Business Transformation Specialist Responsibilities


  • Program Oversight and SME Development

  • Develop a thorough understanding of each compliance team's functions, processes, and challenges

  • Ensure teams become and remain subject matter experts in the compliance programs they manage

  • Act as a point of contact for internal programs, offering support and guidance to achieve operational excellence

  • Risk Mitigation and Analysis

  • Utilize transaction-based analytics to identify trends in domain-specific, geographic, volume, and complexity data

  • Analyze risk indicators and provide insights into changing dynamics in the compliance landscape

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement

  • Operational Insights and Reporting

  • Collaborate with the LTS team to ensure accurate and insightful reporting on compliance operations

  • Generate and review reports on compliance performance, highlighting key trends and insights related to staffing, efficiency, cost management, and operational impact

  • Provide visibility into the effectiveness of compliance operations and their alignment with risk management strategies

  • Facilitate data-driven decisions by harmonizing insights across compliance domains and leveraging LTS reporting

  • Strategic Guidance and Collaboration

  • Work closely with GSCO teams to align compliance strategies with risk-based operational adjustments

  • Collaborate with various departments and the LTS team to ensure meaningful data trends and insights are used to enhance compliance operations

  • Drive improvements in compliance processes and best practices based on analysis and operational feedback

  • Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders on compliance program performance and risk analysis

  • Engage with cross-functional teams and the LTS team to communicate findings and recommendations effectively


Minimum Qualifications


  • PMP certification or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field, advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CISA) preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related fields, with a proven focus on program management and analytics

  • Proven expertise in transaction-based analytics, trend analysis, and risk assessment

  • Proven analytical skills and experience translating complex data into actionable insights

  • Demonstrate experience to develop and maintain subject matter expertise in compliance and legal domains

  • Demonstrate communication and presentation skills, with experience in reporting to senior management

  • Experience working collaboratively across global teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Experience working with reporting teams or coordinating cross-functional reporting efforts is a plus


Preferred Qualifications


  • Deep understanding of compliance and legal program management

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques

  • Experience working with Compliance SMEs, Compliance counsel and audit/regulatory interests

$143,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
