The Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team is looking for a Regional Supply Chain Solutions Manager responsible for the business portfolio management of our services. The Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) organization manages a complex suite of program portfolios and is responsible for a wide variety of IT deployment, new site launches and project initiatives that span across business teams within Worldwide Amazon Stores operations. Our projects deliver technology solutions that power the physical fulfillment operations that directly supports shipping packages to millions of Amazon.com customers across the globe.

The OTS Supply Chain organization plans, sources, makes and delivers the IT equipment necessary to empower Worldwide Amazon Stores operations. Through efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams, we deliver scalable and innovative supply chain solutions that add value and increases customer satisfaction to support forward and reverse technology fulfillment services. We are making investments to transform our supply chain into an automated, resilient, cost-effective IT fulfillment engine enabling our customers to launch programs quicker and adjust to rapid business changes.

Key job responsibilities

- As the Global Supply Chain Solutions Manager, you will lead a talented team of regional account managers responsible for managing customer relationships and providing customized supply chain services across the AMER, EMEA and APAC regions.

- As the global leader, you will empower your regional teams to develop trusted, long-lasting partnerships with customers worldwide, becoming their strategic advisor on supply chain needs and innovations.

- You will coordinate closely with your account managers to deeply understand the unique requirements, challenges and future needs of customers in different countries, using those insights to design high-quality, value-adding solutions.

- Leveraging your global influence, you will align cross-functional internal stakeholders and resources to prioritize successful outcomes for your diverse customer base.

- You will drive proactive global account management activities to identify new business opportunities, improve performance, and enhance value for customers around the world.

- You need to understand what keeps your customers up at night, build services that ease their concerns, and anticipate future needs.

- Critically, you will develop your regional account managers through coaching, mentoring and sharing best practices in global customer relationship management and solution delivery, while also setting team metrics and monitoring the engagement and development of your global organization.

- Advanced knowledge and industry experience of supply chain insights is critical for this role to design high-quality, innovative solutions for our customers.

A day in the life

• You leverage your extensive experience and influence to independently lead your team of regional account managers, empowering them to build and maintain trusted partnerships with customers in their respective markets. Your regional managers serve as the primary point of contact, deeply understanding customer requirements and ensuring seamless delivery of services that exceed expectations.

• You regularly meet with your regional teams to understand the unique needs, challenges, and future requirements of customers in around the globe. Leveraging these insights, you will collaborate closely with your account managers to design and deliver high-quality, value-adding supply chain services that exceed customer expectations.

• You coordinate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to align resources and prioritize successful outcomes for your diverse customer base. You will drive proactive global account management activities, identifying new business opportunities and introducing innovative solutions to improve performance and enhance value for your customers.

• By setting clear team metrics and closely monitoring engagement, you will ensure your organization is equipped to provide world-class supply chain services that keep customers satisfied and anticipate their evolving needs.

• Your influence extends across multiple functions, and you will actively participate in Amazon's strategic planning process to ensure the supply chain solutions you provide are in lockstep with the company's growth objectives worldwide.

Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) mission is to cultivate solutions that deliver value-added supply chain (SC) services that are resilient, agile and scalable to meet our customer needs and improve partnerships. We strive to provide an integrated Supply Chain that leverages standard business practices, optimizes organizational capability, minimizes waste, and delivers comprehensive value to our customers.

SCS is the central spoke in the SC wheel to manage customer relationships, their experience, and process change management. It is our vision to build supply chain solutions that is a seamless extension of Amazon business operations globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 5+ years of team management experience

- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of supply chain experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques

- Experience with six sigma methodologies
