The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. In this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

The Global Supplier Development Intern will work within the Western region of North America to assist with improving our internal processes and our ability to proactively identify risks within the supply base. This intern will have the opportunity to partner with current Supplier Development Engineers to learn how Collins evaluates and addresses risk at our suppliers and implements countermeasures to drive sustained improvement to performance. Projects for this intern in 2022 may include:

• Evolving the Supplier Development Playbook to ensure alignment with the Supply Chain Strategy
• Developing a robust process for tracking timely action closure with suppliers
• Developing a system that measures the impact of action closure against supplier performance improvements
• Project managing the OTD and Quality DIVE initiatives across the region
• Support the CORE lead to drive progression throughout the team/region

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
