About the Team:
The Commerce ad sales team works with some of the largest organizations and advertisers across CPG and Retail categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of North America Commerce Sales to drive our sales efforts across our CPG and Retail verticals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive revenue growth through innovative sales tactics and strong customer relationships.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the leadership, development, and optimization of scaled sales organizations, experience working closely with CPG and Retail sectors, and the ability to work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
You will bring a passion for data-backed storytelling to identify business opportunities that will help grow revenue in a rapid growth environment.This role will report directly into our NA Head of Sales and be based out of our NYC office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Earn a place as a trusted advisor to our clients by partnering with them to understand their business objectives
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth in the CPG and Retail sectors
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market demands
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with key cross functional partners to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in a sales, account management and/or product solution selling role
- 8+ years of leadership experience, including experience managing and mentoring managers as well as individual contributors
- Deep understanding of CPG and Retail market dynamics
- Willing to work in New York, NY with extensive travel across the country

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing commerce relationships at a platform
- Leadership experience engaging and influencing at the executive level with cross-functional groups within a fast-growing organization
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital/mobile marketing
- Strong executive presence and ability to operate effectively under pressure
- Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
