Golang Software Engineer

One of the largest financial institutions in the nation is looking for qualified Golang Software Engineers to join a new, growing team. These engineers will be working on a brand new and cutting-edge project that will be improving the functionality of one of their portals. One of the key responsibilities of this position will be developing new Rest APIs from scratch with Golang. This position requires at least 6 months of professional Golang development experience and these individuals should be able to work independently in a fast paced, Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Backend development stack (Java, Node, or Golang), with at least 2 years of Golang experience.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs for high volume clients. ( from scratch)
- Experience in application design, software development, and testing, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with Git on small to medium sized teams.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra is a plus.
- A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software
Experience with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
