Job Summary:
We are searching for a reliable person to build up our Government Program team which pursues external funding for broadband deployment. Duties for the Government Program Analyst will include maintaining program files, organizing application attachments, preparing program forms, monitoring program updates, and generating status reports. This role will require someone who pays meticulous attention to detail, communicates clearly with team members, and works well under pressure with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to quickly adapt to new processes established by the Government Program Manager in order to accommodate shifts in internal strategy and evolving external program criteria.
In this position, details are critically important and often tasks will be mundane or rote. The ideal candidate will be someone who can maintain routine duties without sacrificing quality. The Government Program Analyst will work closely with the Government Program team to reinforce relationships, ensure that grant programs operate efficiently, streamline grant submissions, and pursue reimbursement funds to keep this aspect of our organization fiscally sound.

Job Duties:
- Adhering to grant timelines
- Comprehending complex program requirements
- Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer
- Assisting the Government Program Manager
- Managing competing timelines and deliverables
- Organizing Application Binders for submission
Education and Experience:
- Degree in business administration or equivalent
- 5+ Years of experience preferred
- Methodical and strategic thinking
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Financial and computer literacy
- Knowledge of telecommunications and various funding programs a plus
- Strong writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office

Work Environment/Hazards:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- High level of interaction with external/internal clients
Physical Demands:
- Stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
- To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment and moving about the office. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone.

- 8AM - 5PM
