Graduate Aquatics and Marine Environmental Scientist:

As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the Environment & Society (E&S) Service Line, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of environmental planning, monitoring and management including marine, atmospherics, terrestrial, and aquatics projects. All work will be under the supervision of Project Managers and reviewed on completion.

This is a full-time position based in a designated Worley office in Houston TX or Baton Rouge LA.

Position is anticipated to start January 2025 or June/July 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct various types of marine fish and fish habitat assessments.
  • Collection and analysis of marine biological, chemical, and physical data.
  • Preparation and execution of technical reports.
  • Adhere to safe working practices and policies.
  • Field work and travel for various field programs, as required.


Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
  • May have Internship experience with environmental science or engineering firm or setting.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of environmental science, mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Willing to self-relocate to the one of the designated Worley office location areas.

Education Requirements:
  • Recognized Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology from an accredited university or college. One remaining semester is acceptable.
