Position Title (Classification Title): Graduate Assistant Working Title: Graduate Assistant, Donor Relations and Stewardship Job Summary:
The Graduate Assistant (GA) for Donor Relations and Stewardship will contribute to the overall mission and functioning of the Donor Relations and Stewardship office. The GA will support the Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager in major giving, annual fund, and sustaining alumni stewardship. The GA will also play an instrumental role in creating and implementing stewardship plans. The role serves to support the UWF Foundation's mission by encouraging private support and stewarding those gifts in a manner consistent with the spirit and intent of the donors. The GA will work under the direction of the Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager.

● GA will create scholarship profile reports for all donor-funded scholarships in an academic year. This will include editing and formatting the profile, cover letter, and thank you letters. GA will assemble the folders and envelopes.
● GA will assist with Nautilus Society, Heritage Society, Friends, Memorial Letters, and First Time Donor Packet Mailings.
● GA will assist the Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager in cultivating and stewarding donor relationships.
● GA will assist with planning and offer onsite management at select development events. Events include football tailgates, UWF Donor Dinner, UWF donor and student receptions, and other events as needed.
● GA will coordinate the tracking of donor relations actions in the Raiser's Edge database.
● GA will develop letters, fact sheets, and other informational materials for prospective donors.
● GA will draft stewardship communications for donor content.
● GA will create video content for donors and utilize ThankView software.
● GA will assist with scholarship and endowment updates.
● GA will assist with reviewing and updating the UWF Scholarship Portal.
● Other duties as assigned and needed by the department.
Department University Advancement-V.P. FLSA: Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduate student at the University of West Florida and pursuing work related to the student's graduate studies program. Candidate must be very organized and capable of managing multiple time-sensitive tasks and deliverables in a dynamic environment. The candidate must be open to learning new tools and skills as the position uses proprietary software.

This position requires fingerprinting.

This position requires a valid driver's license.
