Scope of Job

• Conduct telecounseling outreach activities by making outbound telephone calls to provide support to former UTRGV undergraduate students who have "stopped-out" and are seeking readmissions to the university.
• Serve as a university representative providing support to "stopped-out" students through the admissions, enrollment, and financial aid processes.
• Interact with prospective students via phone, email, text message, live chat, and video.
• Help readmitted applicants with registration and facilitate access to student services.
• Assist with training and coordinating the work of student staff who provide outreach services to undergraduate students seeking readmission and will serve as a backup for professional staff.
• Assist with organizing and participating in outreach activities such as fairs, information sessions, webinars, and returning student onboarding.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of outreach materials including brochures, presentations, and website content.
• Assist with producing outreach activity reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

Current graduate student at UTRGV from any discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with prospective or current students; Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, time management, and problem-solving skills; Ability to multi-task, work independently, and coordinate the work of student staff; Ability to use Microsoft Office and office equipment.
