Department Summary

The Institute for Health Disparities ( IHD ) conducts research, training and community

outreach in the areas of minority health, health disparities and workforce diversity.

Constituting the IHD are the Texas Center for Health Disparities, National Research

Mentoring Network, Texas CEAL Consortium, Diversity Training Programs, AIM - AHEAD and the NIMHD Endowment.

Position Summary

The Research Assistant will collaborate on the Community Engagement Alliance ( CEAL ) Health Information Monitoring and Response Project (iHeard) Texas to assist with recruitment of Vietnamese-speaking adults in Texas to participate in a weekly health information survey panel. The Research Assistant will communicate with eligible participants over phone/email and assist with enrollment and survey administration. This is a 4-month position at $16/hour for 10 hours per week.
