Objectives of this Role:
- Join project teams to research and develop new decision support tools for SwRI clients.
- Implement modern and traditional machine learning algorithms to solve novel problems.
- Summer 2025 internship position.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Apply state-of-the-art machine learning software solutions for artificial intelligence systems in the healthcare field.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss technical solutions to problems.
- Develop tools and techniques to improve our team's research and development capability.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors, Masters or a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Artificial Intelligence.
- 0 years: BS candidates must have relevant academic research and/or internship experience. MS and PhD candidates must be pursuing some graduate work related to machine learning, statistics, and/or artificial intelligence.
- Coursework/project work in Python. Some experience with ML libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Sklearn.
- Excellent mathematical skills in linear algebra and statistics.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
