Job description:

In your new role you will:
  • Work closely with test engineers to manage, maintain and improve existing test fixture and tooling requirements for final electrical test
  • Responsible for sustaining and qualification of test processes for package specific test hardware and equipment
  • Design & fabrication of test fixtures, sockets, boards and other test aids, as well as coordination of outsource service for drawings, quotations, fabrication, and assembly
  • Develop processes and test methods from new or updated fixture designs in collaboration with test engineers
  • Develop equipment and tools work instruction & manage training for operators and technicians
  • Identify and introduce test package improvements targeting test set-up reduction, test time reduction and cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance to test process procedures, develop and maintain technical documentation and releases to production
  • Proactively engages with appropriate engineering teams and leads failure investigation and root cause analysis
  • Receive, sign off, and implement new test processes solution from R&D projects


Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
  • Recently graduated or graduated in the last 12 months with a Bachelor or Masters of Science degree in Engineering, focus preferred in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electronics
  • Hands-on experience with Solidworks, CAD and design-modeling programs.
  • Familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) testing semiconductors (MOSFET, IGBTS, Diodes, mixed signal ICs, etc)
  • Familiarity with tri temp IC Test handlers
  • Familiarity with electronic lab equipment, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Understanding of problem solving methodologies (Ischikawa,8D, 5Ws, etc.) as well as Statistical Data Analysis software (JMP, Minitab).
  • Familiarity with test programming language such as LabVIEW and C/C++
  • Strong in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills
