Grant Manager (Research Administrator)

Piper Companies (Health & Sciences) is actively seeking a remote Grants Manager (Research Administrator) professional for a leading clinical research institution in the National's Capital Region. The Grants Manager will be responsible for the oversight of financial management activities.

Responsibilities of the Grant Manager:

• Manage funds, support analysis, and reconciliation of worktags and subcontractors, manage accruals and cost transfers
• Oversee extramural support for agencies and subcontracts
• Develop the annual budget, and monthly reconciliations, and maintain budget control documentation
• Coordinate reporting and purchasing
• Complete FFRs, close-outs, and spend analysis

Requirements of the Grants Manager:

• Bachelor or Masters in Business Administration, Finance, or an Accounting field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance and invoicing for grants/contracts
• Working knowledge of federal, pharma, and/or foundation-funded grants/endowments
• Must be eligible to work in the US

Benefits for the Grants Manager:

• Salary up to $85,000 commensurate with experience
