Indiana Sports Corp provides internship opportunities that immerse students in a professional working environment while introducing them to the not-for-profit industry. Internships are available based on business needs and can include event and volunteer operations; communications; marketing; graphic design; community engagement; sports tourism; business development; and finance. Graphic Design Internship
Term: Spring 2025 January 13, 2025 - May 2, 2025.
Compensation: $2000 Stipend. Payment schedule discussed during the interview.
Location: On-site - Indianapolis, Indiana. Relocation or housing is not available.

This internship role will be focused on all areas of graphic design including print, digital, and social media. The intern will gain knowledge and experience through working with the design team to create assets for our upcoming spring events including NIT, WBIT, Big Ten Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, NCAA DI Men's Basketball Regional, NCAA DII Men's and Women's Winter Festival, and more.

This intern will assist the Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Marketing, Communications, and Engagement team with the following tasks.

Tasks include:
  • Create visual graphics for many different mediums (print, digital, social media, stadium boards)
  • Contribute with on-site signage surveys and installs for multiple events
  • Help grow our brand presence on social media, creating content, and assisting the Digital Marketing Coordinator at events
  • Assist in organizing the photo library and pulling photo selects for marketing needs
  • Learn technical skills of design including file setup and print production
  • Learn how to communicate with print vendors to meet desired outcomes and timelines

Experience
  • Knowledge and basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook)
