Responsibilities

  • The Graphic Designer will provide the Office Faculty Development and Creative Services Department with print and digital design expertise and services for instruction, faculty development, marketing, and research projects.
  • Designs graphics for instructional materials for print, web, and digital media for the College of Medicine.
  • Works with the Office of Faculty Development to collaborate on designing online modules and other Faculty Development materials.
  • Collaborates with Creative Services team members to analyze, plan and address graphic design needs for research, marketing, and outreach.
  • Consults with faculty on their design needs.
  • Reviews, edits, proofs written content and material used for instructional and promotional projects.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Preferred Experience working in State or government agency and/or post-secondary academic setting. Familiarity with authoring software. Teaching or Training experience.

Anticipated Salary Range

Salary starts in the high 40,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
