The purpose of this position is to provide a two-to-three-month internship experience for an enrolled student for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well both orally and written
• Desire to serve as advocate for Great Expectations program
• Ability to work in person two days per week

Additional Considerations
Enrolled in a VCCS college for associate degree or certification

Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel
Travel as needed.

Additional Information
This is an hourly position and is not eligible for state benefits or leave. Hiring range for this position is $18 per hour.
