Position Responsibility:
- Embrace a "Working Supervisor" role. Employee will be required to work alongside Grounds Staff
- Develop and establish effective landscape, garden and ground maintenance plans
- Service and maintain multiple irrigation systems and backflow preventers
- Plan and provide grounds staff with daily assignments
- Manage yearly landscape budget & order/inventory supplies needed
- Ensure all landscape equipment is cleaned, serviced and maintained
- Communicate safety standards and incident reporting processes for teammates
- Hire part-time staff to assist with landscape duties around NASCAR event weekends
- Oversee NASCAR event weekend housekeeping and cleanup crews
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations & Vice President of Operations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar grounds/landscaping role
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a project management/supervisor role
- Proficient in the English language, knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable
- High school diploma or GED (equivalency)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Positive attitude and creative problem solver who enjoys multi-tasking
