Group Creative Director - Campaigns (Mailchimp)

At Intuit Mailchimp and on the Wink In-house team a good Group Creative Director is like a point guard on a basketball team; pass the work off to talented creatives when necessary, or take the ball and drive the work home while surveying the floor the entire time. It's not an easy position to do well, and involves plenty of mental agility. It's a player-coach role and when executed right can create magic for the business and our brand.

As Global Group Creative Director of Campaigns at Mailchimp Wink, you'll be charged with partnering directly with the Head of Creative, to help us tell our story in the most impactful, breakthrough ways possible across paid, owned, earned and performance marketing channels as well as events.

In this role, you will directly oversee a multidisciplinary group of creatives. You'll help lead the team and guide them to work together to create the most impactful, innovative, and inspirational work of their careers -- and of Mailchimp's history. We are looking for a GCD from a copywriting or art direction background who has deep experience of creating and launching global, culturally-relevant campaigns at scale for paid advertising and global industry event initiatives.

This person will be based in Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a diverse team of creatives on the In-House Agency Team Wink for all campaigns across Consumer Marketing, Event Marketing and Performance Marketing channels.
• Uplevel creative quality of work across the team in partnership with marketing - delivering both business results and international recognition for the Mailchimp brand in the industry
• Provide meaningful feedback to in-house creative directors and designers (across a breadth of disciplines, like graphic, motion, social, video, editing, etc) with a variety of formats
• Bring depth to conceptual creative direction, art direction, copywriting and design
