DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Fitness and Wellness Manager, Group Fitness Instructor IIs are responsible for teaching specialized classes such as cycling, TRX, and Pilates. Examples of duties include: developing and implementing lessons plans that are in accordance with their training, providing customer service, managing risk, and responding to emergency situations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification in applicable area required (i.e. ACE Group Fitness, Schwinn Cycling, TRX, etc.)

  • At least three years of group fitness instruction experience

    Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of format specific audition

  • Earn and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, & AED
