Position Overview:

In this vital role on the CRM and Lifecycle Marketing team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of all CRM communications and campaigns that directly drive Care.com’s business. Leading the CRM Operations team, you will also act as the lead partner with our CRM Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to implement things yourself - no task is too big or too small. Beyond leading day-to-day operations, you’ll hone a vision for the CRM operations roadmap by leading a reassessment/gap analysis of our systems, processes, data assets, SLAs, marketing enablement, and governance that will drive impact across the business. Through cross-functional partnerships, you will contribute to the formation of a center of excellence operations practice that powers our CRM engine and supports the next phase of business growth.

Note: This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX (Mondays & Wednesdays in office)

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the CRM Marketing Operations team, managing the performance and optimization of the team’s processes and efficiency with a consultative, data-driven approach informed by industry best practices.
  • Manage team’s workload to ensure timely execution of cross-channel communications through weekly sprint planning.
  • Implement a CRM Operations strategy & process that is flexible, scalable, and provides a consistent level of support across the organization.
  • Establish a robust Center of Excellence and process for how we work across Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Engineering, QA, Creative, and Analytics teams.
  • Proactively research new vendors, technologies, and industry-standard methodologies that will advise our long-term CRM and Lifecycle Marketing efficiency and strategies.
  • Be a trusted and strategic CRM Marketing Technology business partner/ (SME) to Marketers and the Leadership team.
  • Establish a framework to help govern how we use data to activate campaigns.
  • Shepherd the adoption, management, and ongoing review of operational processes in pursuit of efficiency.

Who You Are:
  • 8 years of demonstrated ability in a marketing operations role, with a strong background in marketing technology and marketing automation using cloud technologies and CRM platforms; Iterable experience required
  • 3+ years validated experience acting as a manager, team lead, project lead, or other position of leadership and responsibility
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence (or related software) to organize, prioritize, and document work.
  • Experience with marketing automation software (Iterable), building sophisticated automation rules and workflows, and using data to drive campaign management.
  • Experience leading user acceptance testing and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with key data privacy laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.) and how to operationally ensure compliance with them.
  • Proven track record to break down and diagnose issues, then identify and rapidly deploy fixes.
  • Strong leadership skills and creative thinking to identify and implement process improvements and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong ability to influence peers and senior-level business partners to drive change and innovation
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong written and oral communication skills

Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
