Position Overview:

The Group Sales Account Executive's main responsibility is to produce group, ticket and hospitality revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with businesses, community, civic, schools and nonprofit organizations.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Meet all sales goals as assigned.
  • Meet customer contact metrics as assigned
  • Set appointments over the phone with decision makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales appointments, either at the stadium or at the client site.
  • Maintain all customer, data, agreements and fulfilment utilizing Salesforce CRM
  • Master all sales presentations utilizing Digi-Deck Software (taught in sales training), tailoring packages according to each group's needs, and handling objections to bring in new group accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential group-seat customers.
  • Knowledge of Tickets.com ticketing software preferred
  • Prospect for customers quality leads utilizing Zoom, direct mail piece and customer list provided.
  • Provide customer service to existing accounts and new accounts throughout the sales journey from beginning of sale to event date. Goal of group rep is to make the job of the customer the easiest possible to host a successful event.
  • Make phone a minimum of 50-calls during the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact with groups and ticket holders.
  • Work with the Box Office to update sales reports and ensure tickets are disseminated.
  • Complete any customer service and operational duties in season as assigned, including set up of all group areas.
  • Work to collect any and all customers payments before ticket are issued before event date
  • Document all data in Salesforce CRM system for proper record keeping.


Position Requirements:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years group sales selling experience, internship year will count.
  • Preferred experience in group sales a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Must be willing to make phone 50-calls daily to generate outside sales appointments.
  • Must be adaptable to change and a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be passionate about working in an environment where meeting sales goals is the most important factor in the role.
  • Must have knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and understand training of Salesforce CRM, Digi-deck and Zoom Info


Physical Demands & Working Environment:
  • Required to work long hours standing and walking around ballpark during season and events.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or crouching are all part of this position.
  • Must be able to handle weather-related elements such as rain, wind and heat.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable car to visit clients
