Position Description:

Gynecologic Oncologist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking an outstanding academic gynecologic oncologist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Division members provide the full breath of care in gynecologic oncology including inpatient and outpatient care, surgery, chemotherapy and subspecialty consultations. The Division of Gynecologic Oncology oversees the MCW Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology as well as actively participates in the Residency Program in OB/GYN.

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at MCW provides clinical care in diverse clinical settings associated with two quaternary medical centers: Froedtert Hospital, Children's Wisconsin. The Division of Gynecologic Oncology actively participates in clinical trials and oversees a portfolio of phase I-III clinical trials, which include national consortium and industry trials, as well as investigator initiated trials.

The Cancer Service Line is the largest in the health system portfolio, delivering high-quality cancer care to over 5,000 unique new patients annually and follow-up care to a substantial portion of cancer patients in Southeast Wisconsin. Investigators have access to a large variety of cancer specimens through a CAP approved Tissue Bank. Cancer is MCW's top strategic priority. Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will be ABOG board certified or board eligible in gynecologic oncology. Candidates should demonstrate clinical and surgical excellence, as well as strong track record in academic gynecologic oncology. Candidates should be passionate about graduate level education, mentorship, clinical and basic science research, and faculty development. Mentorship and opportunities to advance professionally and academically will be provided to the successful candidate.
