Hardware Validation Engineer III

Insight Global is looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer to join one of the world's leading technology companies. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. As a HW Validation Engineer, you will be working on testing/validation for cutting edge AR devices. We are looking for someone that can do PCB level rework as well as working in the lab utilizing test equipment to product manual/automation tests to document and interpret results.

Pay rate: $85/hr

Required Skills & Experience

5 plus years of experience working as an electronics validation/test-engineer

Work with analog and digital electronics such as analog amplifier stages, microcontrollers, SOCs, capable of reading a schematic and following a layout.

Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals

Use standard lab test equipment and function (Oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, LCR meter etc.)

Design and execution of manual or automated testing, document measurements and maintain good test data record keeping.

Use MS Office or Google Docs for documentation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Python Programming, Labview,EMC Testing, schematic and PCB layout (KiCad, Eagle, Altium, Cadence)
