The Head Coach is responsible for leading all aspects of the women's rowing program in alignment with the mission and goals of the Department of Athletics and University.
Responsibilities include directing and managing the planning, design, implementation, management, and execution of an effective team strategy.
The Head Coach will:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Significant experience in coaching rowing at the collegiate and/or professional level.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 5 or more years coaching at the Division 1 level.

Responsibilities include directing and managing the planning, design, implementation, management, and execution of an effective team strategy.
The Head Coach will:
- Develop a strategic recruiting plan that targets student athletes who are academically eligible and athletically competitive.
- Hire, train, and supervise assistant coaches.
- Define team and player goals and implement plans to achieve them.
- Monitor expenses, analyze cost projections and trends, identify resource allocation, and maintain a balanced and accurate budget.
- Maintain detailed and current knowledge on all NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations related to the sports program, ensuring all those associated with the program remain compliant.
- Familiarity with and adherence to NCAA rules and regulations regarding the sport of Women's Rowing.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Strong strategic thinking.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
