The Head of Operations for our Third Party Administrator (TPA) will lead the operational strategy and execution of services that support client goals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in managing operational functions, optimizing processes, and enhancing the client experience within the insurance and benefits administration sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of the TPA industry, and the ability to manage teams effectively to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a
related field
• 7+ years of experience in operations management within a TPA and benefit
insurance
• Strong understanding of claims processing, customer service, and regulatory
compliance in the TPA industry.
• Javelina TPA Experience
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the TPA including claims processing, stop loss payments and customer service / client management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Identify and implement best practices to streamline operations and drive performance improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to enhance operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to mitigate operational risk.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations department.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for client retention and growth.
- Manage the operational budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Work closely with other departments including Sales, Finance, and HR to align operational initiatives with company goals.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth and direction of the company.
