Minimum qualifications:

As an Analytics lead in Cloud Databases, you will apply analytical capabilities towards the most strategically important areas and topics across the databases business and create linkages with the overall databases strategy. You will work cross-functionally across the Databases organization and broader Google Cloud product areas as needed to shape the future of the Databases portfolio. You will serve as a leader on the Databases Strategy and Operations leadership team, a function which is responsible for crafting the strategic direction for Databases and ensuring the high quality execution of the strategy. You will be working with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, UI, and Finance to make data driven product decisions. You will serve as a subject matter expert, trusted technical/analytical advisor across a wide range of issues to our stakeholders.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with large, complex data sets and develop solutions that can be executed for incremental business growth. Solve non-routine, inter-disciplinary analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
  • Perform leadership consulting across the Databases organization to make data driven product decisions and find data driven product opportunities. Develop experimentation and measurement frameworks to increase the velocity of investments and aid complex decision-making.
  • Identify important business problems, translate these to tractable questions, process data and perform analysis, and communicate the results to stakeholders to inform the product direction.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, User Research, and Go-to-Market teams to identify opportunities for impactful analysis.
  • Deliver well-documented datasets, tools, and reports to key technical and business partners. Integrate your findings and output into relevant business and product workstreams.
