The Field Technical Operations (FTO) team is looking for a leader to scale the Strategic Initiatives and Programs function- owning the definition, build, launch and optimization of the mechanisms that are needed to drive the Technical Organization business by leading the organization's most strategic programs and initiatives. You will work closely with senior regional and world-wide leadership to support the strategic evolution of the function, including programmatically executing the Technical Organization's annual goals, and business reviews and inspection mechanisms. You will also be responsible for coordinating and planning activities, initiatives and mechanisms that help the Tech Org scale globally through frameworks, playbooks, go-to-market strategies. This role will also help the leader of the Tech Org's business governance function in measuring business performance based on pre-determined metrics and key process indicators (KPIs) to ensure we have a closed loop process for annual planning and continue goal planning and execution.

You will own annual goal planning and periodic business reviews, all goal reporting/dashboards and you will help dive efficiencies while accelerating mechanism adoption and continuous improvement. Partnering with the cross-functional stakeholders and leaders, you will define, plan and execute strategic priorities, identify metrics to measure the performance of the organization and drive predicable cadences and mechanisms - for operations, strategic planning and delivery, goals setting and business reviews.

You will focus on proactively searching for ways to reduce operational overhead by building, evolving and inspecting mechanisms that help govern overall business performance against goals and reduce the cost of sales while continually improving the quality of our service delivery.

Key job responsibilities

• \tOwn the definition, build, development and launch of key mechanisms designed to help the business and other cross-regional and cross-functional capabilities that uplift and embed best practice, efficiencies and acceleration mechanisms for scalability.

• \tOwn strategic initiatives and programs, both standard and ad hoc, including deep dives on risk areas both in terms of where the Tech Org should accelerate opportunities as well as where it needs to improve overall performance.

• \tOwn driving the execution and reporting of the operational KPIs, Goals and Metrics globally and for allocated areas

• \tOwn the development and scaling of the strategic initiatives and programs - including stakeholder management, virtual teams, and cross functional programs both locally and globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
